6 Awesome Party Tips That Won’t Break Your Bank

There are so many things that you can consider so that you can have an awesome party without breaking the bank. You don’t need to spend a fortune on food, or entertainment – just follow these simple tips and your guests will be impressed!

Party

1. Entertainment

Whether it’s a company Christmas party or just an excuse to throw a party with friends, you’ll want some entertainment. Before picking any specific entertainment – ask yourself if the outlay would be worth it? Is having this form of entertainment going to enhance your party and make for a better night? If so, get the cheapest one! Chances are that if they all do the same thing (sing, dance, etc.), then it isn’t going to matter which one you choose. You can get great deals for speakers for DJing so that you can play your music. You can upload all of your music for free on an app or download music directly to your PC so that you can have an instant playlist!

2. Food

A party isn’t a party without delicious food! If there is one thing that gets the party started, it’s good food. However, don’t overdo it with crazy expensive dishes – go with classic dishes that are loved by everyone! Snacks are perfect if you’re trying to make your money stretch further: they also help people hold off before dinner so they won’t eat too much in one go. It’s also very important to make sure that everyone is fed at some point during the night – nobody likes seeing empty plates around them while eating their meal! So keep that in mind when you’re planning your menu – plenty to go around!

3. Drinks

Think about the drinks that you’ll be serving at your party. Rather than getting everyone branded drinks, why not just get them cheap bottles? You can choose what they drink so it’s more fun and if your guests know one or two of these brands very well, then buying them won’t cost too much either. However, if you want branded drinks, don’t let it break the bank – get some mini bottles instead of full-size ones which can cost up to half as much (or even less) for basically the same product. At the end of the day, a BYOB (Bring Your Own Booze) option might be the best.

4. Delegation

If you’ve never planned a party before, then it can seem like a big undertaking. A good way to make this easier is to split the responsibilities with your friends or family! If you don’t want to do all of the cooking, making, and planning yourself – ask your parents if they would mind helping out. Chances are that they will be happy to help you have an awesome party regardless of how busy their schedule might be!

5. Think About Time

On top of thinking about what food you’re going to serve, think about when it will happen too. It’s better for everyone if dinner happens at around 7-8 pm instead of 5 pm so that people won’t go over their calories for the day! Also, consider including breaks in between services so that guests can enjoy the little snacks and nibble if they want to. This can help prevent big queues at the buffet table too.

Also, don’t plan for your party to go on forever – people will be exhausted by the night’s end, especially if you’re having it at home. A good idea is to have different time slots so that guests can choose which part of the day they would like to attend: make sure you state this online or on invites! This way, more of your guests are likely to come as some will be working during their preferred timeslot. People are very busy these days so don’t assume they’ll be able to come out every day even though you’d love them all there!

6. Fun Activities

The last step in ensuring you have an awesome party is to think about some fun activities that people can do during the night! If you’re throwing a Christmas party, then decorate the house with Christmas trees and lighting. You could also have mistletoe hanging all around so that if two people are standing underneath it, they have to kiss! Of course, make sure to look out for any kind of allergies before putting this up! Other ideas could be presents or cards – if your guests love receiving gifts but aren’t expecting anything at the party, they’ll appreciate this!

Party

It can be very easy to have an awesome party without having the money to do the best things. However, by delegating tasks and planning, you can easily save a lot of time and money! If you follow these six steps then your party will be one for the books!
