The 2015 Lexus RC 350 F Sport is a striking sports coupe that had taken the world by a storm with its launch, majorly due to its futuristic looks which gave it a mean sports car appeal. This car amazed many people for being out of line from the regular Lexus design theme and appeal, setting a new standard for the brand that we are seeing pour over. In a segment where competitors such as BMW, Audi, and Cadillac have their own capable cars, the Lexus RC 350 F sport has definitely made a place of its own.

This is the most striking design of any car produced by Lexus which majorly draws its inspiration from the famous LFA concept. The coupe features an edgy design with crisp lines running across the length of the car. Upfront, the striking grill along with the sleek headlamps impart a very aggressive and mean look to the car which goes well in this segment. The profile view looks very good with a nice silhouette and clean creases on the doors. The rear design draws special attention with its angular designed tail lamps and twin exhaust indicate its sporty nature. And even for a sport coupe, the doors are quite large, giving plenty of room to get into and out of the ride. This is not often seen on the smaller coupes on the road.

The dual tone interiors are also based on the LFA supercar concept, invoking a bigger sense of cool and style than we have seen in previous Lexus rides. This means that the interiors of this car are without a doubt absolutely stunning. The car features a very elegant design and does not wander into the luxury segment. Dashboard is very cleanly laid out, so is the instrument cluster which gives a read out of every detail that driver requires. Quality of materials is top notch which make the overall experience even better.

The car is powered by a 3.5 litre V 6 engine that produces 306 horsepower and 277 foot pound of torque. The power is transferred to the rear wheels via a 8 speed automatic transmission or to all the 4 wheels via a 6 speed auto box. The driving dynamics of this car is just brilliant and the car will behave on the road with great accuracy. The only problem with this car is it lacks the feel which is available in other cars such as BMW 4 series coupe, the RC 350 although provides very good performance, it does not feel as connected as a BMW does. Event with this power, it might feel a bit sluggish, and does miss the whole scary-fun aspect the original IS-F invoked in the previous 4-door model. But keeping that aside, this car is a perfect everyday sports car. It is a perfect combination of a powerful engine, a finely tuned chassis, incredible technology, and excellent driving dynamics.

Every feature on this car s dedicated in aiding the driving to extract performance out of this car in every situation. This comes with a remote touch pad which helps in easy navigation through the control menu, the Lexus dynamic handling package enhances the agility of the car, the dynamic gauge cluster gives real time read out of performance figures to the driver, the bolstered front seats keep its occupants in grip during high speed maneuvers. Paddle shifters are provided behind the steering column to give the driver complete control over the car’s performance. To ensure the safety of its occupants, the car comes with an all weather traction control system which never lets the car out of control, which would sometime kick in when not really wanted, but does keep the car firmly planted during spirited runs and cornering.

The 2015 Lexus RC 350 F Sport provides a thrilling experience every time you sit on the driver’s seat. It is a perfect combination of breathtaking beauty, powerful engine and crisp driving dynamics, and with its head turning looks and growl of an exhaust, is one for the books with Lexus’ new direction.
