We know you. You’re a hip young man who partakes in the extremest of extreme sports, hucks the most tubular gnar, and captures it all on GoPro to pip those YouTube hits. But what happens when you walk into the party-est of parties with your hard plastic GoPro case? You look like a sucka MC, that’s what. Enter the Travler – a handmade leather case designed to transport your GoPro from beach to restaurant to mountaintop to afterparty without skipping a beat.
Handmade in America out of top grain leather, the Travler is hand stitched and designed to provide durable protection while also looking like it belongs right on your hip. The standard plastic turtle-shell for the GoPro is great for hardcore adventuring, but leaves a lot to be desired for ease of carrying and use. While the Travler isn’t going to be doing any high-speed runs mounted on your motorcycle any time soon, it does protect your GoPro from the normal wear and tear of carting it around to all the places you actually want your camera.
The Travler’s Kickstarter is well past funded, so it will actually be produced and shipped out to customers later this year. The brand is also considering additional GoPro cases or other everyday leather goods to carry your electronics. If the Travler, and the immediate response it’s fundraising received are any indication, this is a brand that you’ll be hearing a lot of in the near future.
