Cocktails seem to come and go, and while the classics exist, most modern concoctions do everything in their power to mask the flavor and profile of the core of the drink, the booze. Well, that’s not how we like to enjoy our drinks after a long day of work, and we think that the modern cocktails being designed need to go back to the core of good ingredients that highlight and enhance the experience.
So, how can we go about making this happen? Well, we teamed up with mixologist Adam Douglas from The Arvada Tavern to start, and then invited Crystal Head Vodka to join us, in making our first ever signature cocktail. From the start, we knew we wanted something with a bite or kick at the end after falling in love with peppered vodka, but we didn’t want it to overwhelm. After a few renditions, including one with habanero bitters, we are excited to introduce The Graverobber, which is now available at The Arvada Tavern on their special cocktail recipe.
Ingredients
To make, add all the listed ingredients minus the orange twist into a glass and stir with ice. After a green hue takes over, strain the mixture into a martini glass, twist an orange peel over the cocktail, and garnish. From there, it’s pure enjoyment.
A big thank you to The Arvada Tavern, Crystal Head Vodka, and of course Adam Douglas for all their help. We will be producing more drinks soon.
