Men’s Gift Guide (Under $100)

There is one week until Christmas and if you, like me, have completely spaced buying gifts, it’s time to get it together and pick up some awesome gifts for loved ones. Now, we could go with the standard bourbon, but it’s really time to step up the game. So we have assembled a list of items under $100 that we have tried, loved, and will be giving as gifts this year. All links are provided direct to the sales sites to make your job even easier.

Panasonic Old School Monitor Headphones, RP-HTX7 – $35 (Amazon)

The old school, retro style HTX7 Retro Monitor Stereo Headphones are a throw back, but function with the top technology of today! These lightweight headphones have a frequency response of 7Hz-22kHz and a maximum input of 1,000mW!

COIN 2.0 – $99 (Amazon)

Coin 2.0 is a secure smart device that looks like a credit card, but it holds all of your cards in one – including your credit, debit, gift and even your loyalty cards. While Coin 2.0 shares the same form factor as a credit card, it features enhancements such as an electronic display and a single button to allow for simple switching between different cards.

Spyderco Tenacious ~ C122G – $69 (Spyderco)

The Tenacious from Spyderco is a mid-sized folding knife that is designed and built for a persistent, cohesive, and tireless performance that lives up to its name. The Tenacious features a black G-10 laminate handle, milled with prolonged fatigue-free cutting in mind.

Beer, Food, and Flavor: A Guide to Tasting, Pairing, and the Culture of Craft Beer – $15 (Amazon)

Armed with the precise tasting techniques and pairing strategies offered inside, participating in the growing craft beer community is now easier than ever. Beer, Food, and Flavor will enable you to learn about the top craft breweries in your region, seek out new beer styles and specialty brews with confidence, create innovative menus, and pair craft beer with fine food, whether at home or while dining out.

Timbuk2 Dashboard Laptop Messenger Bag – $79 (Timbuk2)

More gadget friendly than a Classic Messenger bag, but not as techie as a Command or Commute Messenger, the Dashboard messenger will happily carry your laptop, iPad, and phone without looking like its trying.

The TieBar Bowtie – $19 (TheTieBar.com)

Every man should own at least 2 bowties, and not the clip-on, pre-tied crap from the local rental joint. We mean a classic, untied, ready to go in a flash bowtie.

Praise the Pig: Loin to Belly, Shoulder to Ham – $18 (Amazon)

In loving detail, bacon maven and pork pro Jennifer Pearsall highlights the consumer-friendly parts of the pig that you can find readily in any grocery store—loins and tenderloins, ham, bacon, sausage, and shoulder; the parts you want to eat the most! In over fifty recipes, she illustrates how to make full use of each part for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as snacks on the go.
